The wave of grief over Zubeen Garg’s demise spread to Times Square Mall, located at Zoo Road and RGB Road, where hundreds gathered to pay their last respects. A massive portrait of the beloved singer, adorned with a garland of white flowers, stood surrounded by candles, incense, and floral tributes.


Organizations, including Manik Chand Jewellers and SPM, came forward to organize the homage, uniting fans and well-wishers in a solemn remembrance. Shoppers, employees, and residents joined hands, chanting “Joi Zubeen Daa” while offering flowers and lighting candles.
The air was heavy with music and memories as people recalled how Zubeen Daa’s songs shaped generations, bringing Assam together in moments of joy and sorrow alike. With moist eyes, many fans shared that this spot, usually bustling with fashion and leisure, had turned into a place of collective mourning — a testament to how deeply Zubeen Garg touched the lives of millions.
