Guwahati, Sept 28: Adding a divine dimension to this year’s celebrations, the Bhaskarnagar Sarbajanin Durga Puja Committee has unveiled a unique Hanuman-themed pandal that is drawing strong interest from visitors.
The design showcases Lord Hanuman in various symbolic forms, blending devotion and creativity to present a pandal that stands out in Guwahati’s vibrant Puja circuit. From towering structures to intricate detailing, the setup is meant to highlight the values of strength, courage, and devotion qualities often associated with both Hanuman and Goddess Durga’s victory over evil.
Organisers explained that the inspiration for this year’s theme was to remind devotees of the power of faith and resilience, while also offering a fresh perspective on Durga Puja celebrations. “Every year, we try to give something meaningful to the people. This year’s Hanuman theme connects two powerful traditions of devotion,” said a committee member.
The pandal is already becoming a hotspot for locals and pandal-hoppers, praised for its creativity and spiritual depth.
