Guwahati, Oct 10: The Assam Cricket Association (ACA) has announced that the ACA Stadium, Barsapara, will host the third T20 International of the upcoming New Zealand Tour of India on January 25, 2026.
New Zealand’s tour of India will feature a three-match ODI series followed by five T20Is, with the Guwahati match marking one of the most anticipated fixtures on the tour calendar.
“The Barsapara Stadium will host the third T20I between India and New Zealand on January 25. This once again underlines ACA Stadium’s growing stature as one of India’s premier international cricket venues and a symbol of sporting excellence in the Northeast,” the ACA said in an official statement.
The association also extended its gratitude to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia for their continued support in promoting cricket in Assam.
Over the past few years, the Barsapara Stadium has become a regular venue for international fixtures, hosting both men’s and women’s matches, IPL games, and major domestic tournaments. The stadium recently received widespread praise during the ICC Women’s World Cup 2025 for its smooth organisation and record-breaking crowd attendance.
